Game Description
Avacards is a hybrid-casual fantasy sports pick 'em game currently in development for iOS and Android devices. The app is developed in Unity/C# with a custom backend API that makes use of generative AI to simulate fantasy sports matchups between teams, historical figures, celebs, and more.
Design & Development
Our 3-person team comprises a backend engineer, lead designer, and frontend engineer. As the frontend engineer I am responsible for translating game screen mockups and interaction flows into testable prototypes and pixel-perfect production code. This entails architecting flexible, modular systems to populate application views from backend data models.
I also utilize my gameplay design expertise to help define and refine game loops, meta-systems, monetization design, and overall user experience.
